Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery

Rhinology is the subspecialty concerned with the medical and surgical management of conditions of the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses.  Acute and chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal deformity, nasal polyposis, allergy and blocked tear ducts are some of the many conditions managed by rhinologists.

Facial plastic surgery encompasses rhinoplasty, the resection and reconstruction of facial skin tumours, and cosmetic surgery.

Anterior skull base surgery includes endoscopic pituitary surgery, endoscopic orbital decompression for Grave's disease, and the endoscopic resection of sinonasal lesions.
